Wallet-friendly LG FHD gaming monitor now even more affordable at its lowest price ever on Amazon
Table of Contents
This limited-time deal has slashed the price of this LG FHD gaming monitor down to its record low on Amazon. It’s now going for just $119.99, with a hefty 29% off its list price.
Now, of course, comparing this to a powerhouse premium LG UltraGear monitor is fairly pointless, as this product is all about affordability and doing the basics well. Before we dive in, the most important things you need to know here are that it’s 180Hz, VA, HDR10, and has a 1ms response time with FreeSync. On top of that, there are some extra bells and whistles designed with competitive gaming in mind.
What we like about this LG 27-inch FHD gaming monitor
27 inches and FHD
A good size for competitive gaming, and about as large as you want to go for the resolution to preserve a decent level of pixel density.

180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time
High enough for up to 180fps, with a response time low enough to reduce ghosting and motion blur. Layer in FreeSync, and you’ve got a pretty decent package for smooth gaming at high fps.
VA panel
Generally speaking, these have better native contrast to IPS panels, which is good if you want games to look less flat and have more vibrant color.
Virtually borderless design
It features very narrow bezels, which gives it a much more premium look and feel, despite being a more wallet-friendly option.
Competitive gaming features
Black Stabilizer helps brighten darker areas of game maps, potentially revealing opponents, without over-exposing the rest, and Action Sync helps to reduce latency.
Who is this gaming monitor for?
It’s all about budget with this monitor, so it’s well-suited to anyone who has a gaming PC primarily capable of FHD gaming. Something like an RTX 5060 build would pair nicely with this monitor. HDR performance is quite basic here, but that is very much to be expected at this price point. If you’re playing esports titles largely, that’s no issue, but for more cinematic games, you may want to keep an eye out for DisplayHDR 400 certifications when shortlisting monitors.
