This should tell you everything you need to know, but the 4K resolution combined with the 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time makes it ideal for competitive gaming. The picture quality of the OLED panel is unmatched, with insane color gamut coverage, contrast, and pretty decent panel uniformity.
The original price tag of this gaming monitor is $1,049.99, but with a very decent 17% shaved off, it was knocked down to $869. 240Hz refresh rate with 0.03ms response time pushes it into professional gaming territory
Besides productivity and creativity, this gaming beast excels in gaming with a responsive 4K panel, which doesn’t compromise on the refresh rate or response time. So, as long as you have a high-end graphics card that can churn out high FPS at 4K, you’re all good to go for fast-paced gaming sessions. That being said, keep in mind that not even the RTX 5090 can hit 240 FPS in graphically demanding titles, but games like DOTA 2 and CS2 are a piece of cake to render. However, for the former, you’ll have DLSS 4 and MFG to help pull the weight, which is always a plus.
OLED Care 2.0 with a 3-year warranty gives peace of mind
The picture quality of OLED gaming monitors is amazing, but there is always the risk of burn-in. So, to help avoid that, you’ll have the full suite of OLED Care 2.0, which includes pixel refresh, taskbar detection, boundary detection, pixel shift, and other features to keep the panel clean and free from static pictures. That being said, even if it does burn in, the 3-year warranty should cover you so you can rest easy and start gaming with this monitor right out of the box.
How this gaming monitor performed during in-house testing
When we tested this gaming monitor, it showcased outstanding performance, and we’ll shed some light on some of the parameters tested.
Color gamut
In the sRGB color space, it achieved 99.9% color accuracy, which is incredible, while DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB ranked second and third, respectively, with 97.4% and 94.1%. So, for anything related to content creation and color grading, opting for sRGB is the right way to go.
Panel uniformity
We test the panel uniformity with the help of the DisplayCAL software. It splits the screen into a 5×5 grid, and the variance is looked at with green being the best, followed by yellow and red. Out of the 25 zones, 17 had a variance above 1, which, in simple terms, means that for professional-level color grading, it might not be the best option.
