Following the launch of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series, (so far) we’ve seen availability for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, though both cards immediately sold out and stock shortages remain an ongoing issue. Next up in the series will be the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070; the desktop GPUs will go on sale this February.

When it comes to laptops, these usually lag a little behind the desktop hardware – but Acer has now unveiled a new range of Predator gaming laptops featuring the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPUs.

Acer Predator Helios Neo laptops unveiled

Two new models have been announced by Acer at the Intel Extreme Masters event in Katowice today. As you’d expect from the name, both of these gaming laptops feature Intel hardware on the processor side of things. As for graphics, both of them are fitted with Nvidia’s new RTX 50 series, namely the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs. Although split into two models, there are four variants for each one; dig into the specs below.

It’s worth noting that the naming of these models will differ slightly depending on the model. For example, we spotted the ‘Helios Neo 16S AI’ at the IEM Katowice event, which matches up with the OLED laptop specs listed above. So, there is going to be a wide range of new Predator laptops to choose from in the coming months. We also spotted one featuring up to RTX 5090 graphics; this is simply the Helios 16 AI (without the Neo branding).
