Lenovo Legion Tower 5i – AI-Powered Gaming PC – RTX 5070 TI

Intel® Core Ultra 7 265F Processor – 32 GB Memory – 1 TB Storage – 3 Months of PC GamePass

Key features of this Lenovo Legion Tower 5i gaming PC

RTX 5070 Ti graphics card

An excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K, with a hefty 16GB of VRAM. This card is the best mid-to-upper range 50-series option you can go for, and even with its closer competitor, the RX 9070 XT, it still has the edge thanks to Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. For instance, you’ve got GDDR7, which is faster than the 9070 XT’s GDDR6 memory, and you’ve also got the latest generation of ray tracing and tensor cores. The improvements to AI performance have also made new features, like multi-frame generation, possible. MFG in particular comes in handy with this card if you’re gaming in 4K, and can help boost perceived framerates for a smoother, more playable performance in demanding titles.

Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor

This is a great all-rounder processor, that’s good for gaming, productivity, multitasking, and creative workloads like video editing. As with the rest of the Core Ultra processors, it comes with a dedicated NPU with 13TOPS. This can be useful for anything from design and editing to performing real-time actions like video background blurring or live translation. In terms of bang for your buck, it’s a good option to go for, especially if you’re looking for something that’s more recently released. Read our full review here for more details.

Storage and RAM

Standard procedure here, as this gaming PC packs 32GB of DDR5 RAM. As we’ve said a million times before, this is the ideal amount for most people, and will help with anything from multitasking and handling RAM-intensive editing software, to running heavily modded games. It has a smaller 1TB SSD, which is good for a pretty big handful of large AAA games, and shouldn’t run out of space too quickly.

Things to consider

This is actually a pretty amazing PC for the price, so there’s not a whole lot to consider aside from the choice of CPU. The 265F is good, but it’s not as good for gaming as the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which has a much larger 96MB L3 cache. Generally speaking, the 265F is going to be a good shout for hybrid usage, like if you’re gaming and doing content creation. The 7 9800X3D should be roughly the same price when featured in an RTX 5070 Ti build, so take a look at what’s out there if you’re looking for all-out gaming performance.
