Amazon Prime members can get these 14 Steam Deck-friendly games for free right now
Amazon Prime members will know about free and fast shipping, exclusive discounts, and Prime Video. However, what some of you might not know is that the service also provides a new set of free video games every month through Amazon Luna (formerly Prime Gaming). And right now, there’s a big collection of games that you can add to your library at no extra cost.
Amazon is currently offering a total of 14 free games to Prime members, which they can claim and download at no additional cost. The best part is that these games are also Steam Deck-compatible, so they’ll provide a solid gaming experience on the go. Most are Verified, running smoothly on the handheld out of the box. Others are Playable, so they may need some tweaks.
Free Steam Deck-compatible games for Prime members right now
It is, however, important to keep in mind that these games must be claimed through different platforms like Epic Games, GOG, and more. Amazon won’t provide Steam keys for them, so Steam Deck owners will need to use a third-party launcher like Heroic to play them. Also, if you’re not a Prime member yet, you can sign up for it here. If you’re a student or between 18 and 24, you can enjoy a free 6-month trial, which can be used to claim the games.
