ASUS is gearing up to release a new lineup of laptops that are powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix Point” APUs. As per the Chinese ASUS website, the upcoming series will include a Zenbook, a Vivobook, and two ProArt models. The official website also details each of these laptops with specifications and prices, all of which promise next-gen AI-powered performance.
The launch date for these laptops is set for July 28th according to Wccftech, which is less than two weeks. Considering that the specs and prices are already out in China, pre-orders in other regions should start soon.

ASUS ZenBook 16 to sport a 2.8K OLED display
The first laptop that we have here is the ASUS ZenBook 16, which sports an OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The highlight here is that this laptop is designed from Ceraluminum – a new material that includes an aluminum shell and a ceramic compound.
On the inside, the ZenBook has the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, which has 12 cores, 24 threads, and up to 5.1GHz boost clock speed. Recently, as per some leaked benchmarks, this processor came close to being the fastest mobile gaming processor. For graphics, the laptop features a Radeon 890M iGPU that has 16 RDNA 3.5 compute units and an XDNA 2 NPU that can give up to 50 TOPS.
Looking at the memory configuration, 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and 1 TB SSD, which is decent for the starting price. For cooling, the ZenBook has integrated dual exhaust fans and a heatsink solution.
For connectivity, the ZenBook 16 offers HDMI 2.1, dual USB4 ports, a USB-A port, SD card reader, and support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard.
Despite the powerful components and a robust-looking exterior, the ZenBook weighs 1.49kg and has a thin 1.1cm body. The ASUS ZenBook has a starting price of 12,999 RMB, which is roughly equivalent to $1,800. The price will go up with the configuration.
16-inch ASUS Vivobook Pro 16 can be flipped 180 degrees
The upcoming ASUS Vivobook Pro 16 will sport a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports a 180-degree hinge.
Under the hood, the VivoBook Pro 16 houses the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 APU, which is a 10-core, 20-thread processor capable of boosting up to 5.0 GHz. Further, the integrated Radeon 880M graphics promise a 15% jump in performance over its predecessor. The system delivers 73 TOPs of compute performance and 50 TOPs for AI tasks.
For connectivity, the Vivibook offers dual USB-A, USB-C, USB4, MicroSD, HDMI 2.1, and Wi-Fi 7. Further, with the USB-C port, the laptop can be charged to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Much like the ZenBook, the Vivobook also seems to be slim and portable. The laptop is 13.9mm thick and weighs 1.5kg. Currently, the Vivobook Pro 16 is priced at 7999 RMB, which is close to $1100 for the base model.
ProArt 16” has a 4K OLED display, 13” model is convertible
As mentioned earlier, the upcoming ProArt lineup has two models – a 16-inch laptop and a 13-inch convertible. Both models will include a dedicated port for real-time system monitoring.
The ProArt 16 will have a 16-inch 4K OLED display. On the inside, these models are powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. For GPUs, buyers can choose between NVIDIA RTX 4060 or RTX 4070. Users can get up to 32GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
Much like the ZenBook and Vivobook above, the ProArt 16 also comes with the latest connectivity options, which include USB4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2, SD Express 7.0, and Wi-Fi 7.
Meanwhile, the ProArt 13 is a smaller 13-inch convertible laptop with a 2.8K OLED display. At its heart, it features the same AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU as the 16-inch model. However, it has an NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card – so buyers don’t get to choose here.
Along with this, the compact ProArt iteration comes with up to 32GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage. Similar to the bigger ProArt, the connectivity options here are USB4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2, MicroSD, and Wi-Fi 7.
As per the ASUS website, the price for the ProArt 16 with RTX 4060 starts at 15,999 RMB, and for RTX 4070, it’s 17,999 RMB (which is around $2200 USD and $2500 USD, respectively. The ProArt 13 has a starting price of 14,999 RMB, which is equivalent to $2100 USD.
