Artist recreates vintage GPU in Lego

Get your geek on - this is great!

We love it when the Internet gets so nerdy you can’t help smile and this is what’s done it for us today.

@Bhaal_Spawn, a UK artist posted on Twitter her lego reimagining of the world’s first GPU – 1999’s very own Nvidia GeForce 256.

She’s even mocked up packaging for it!

Featuring a green PCB and fan connected to it, she mused that PC graphics had never been so blocky – well, we appreciate the pun at least.

This is the height of geek and we love it. Now, who’s up for making a Soundblaster or Roland MIDI card from the 90s.
