Ubisoft will be presenting its ‘Worldwide Reveal Showcase’ for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced later today (April 23). As the name implies, it’s a remake or remaster of 2013’s AC Black Flag, which has solidified itself as one of the most loved and highly rated entries in the franchise.

Following mixed reactions and reportedly weak sales (outside of the initial launch) for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a rehash of one of the most popular AC titles probably seems like a safe bet for Ubisoft. With leaked pricing now here, we can see that the game is expected to launch not far from full retail price for a modern AAA title.

How much will the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remaster cost?

Ubisoft called Black Flag Resynced “Gaming’s worst kept secret” during its teaser earlier this week, and now, it seems that the pricing is also no longer a mystery. This information comes courtesy of a well-known and reliable leaker by the name of billbil-kun. To further back up claims, the Collector’s Edition was spotted on Amazon France with its price briefly viewable.

  • Launch Edition: $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99
  • Collector’s Edition: $199.99 / €199.99 / £174.99

Given the fact these have already surfaced online, we imagine that Ubisoft will be including the pricing details as part of its reveal today. In other words, we may not have to wait long before these details are officially confirmed. In any case, $60 for the launch edition – which is often retained as the standard price tag – has already raised eyebrows. It is a thirteen-year-old game after all.

The latest Assassin’s Creed entry is 2025’s AC Shadows, and the Standard & Collector’s editions for that game were $69.99 and $229.99, respectively. It also shipped with Digital Deluxe and a Gold/Ultimate Edition priced up to $129.99. All rumors so far point towards Resynced being a full-blown remake, rather than a remaster – but it may not even ship with Black Flag’s original DLC.
