New ‘fastest OLED monitor’ matches LG

This news comes not long after LG announced the 520Hz / 720Hz panel at K-Display 2025. Although the 4th-gen gaming OLED was not specifically named, it arrives as the “world’s fastest” OLED monitor and is likely the same panel ASUS is using in the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W with Tandem OLED technology. However, the ASUS display has one noticeable difference to what LG showed off: support for DisplayPort 2.1a, rather than 1.4.

In any case, these three new QHD gaming monitors from ASUS enter the market as real contenders for the best gaming monitor out there. Like we said earlier, there is no confirmation on pricing or availability just yet.
