Following Intel’s launch of its high-powered 14900KS CPU, its predecessor, the 13900KS, has unsurprisingly received a much-needed price cut. With most PC enthusiasts’ attention predictably centering on the newly released processor, sales for previous models will likely dwindle, hence the timely discount.

You can grab the newly priced 13th-generation CPU for yourself on Newegg with a $30 discount, bringing its price down from $673.99 to $643.99. Though still relatively expensive, this puts its cost at $45 less than the 14900KS, making it a slightly more affordable option if you want to upgrade for a little less. However, if you want to save more, we recommend bundling it up with other parts, like the Z790-E mobo and an ASUS ROG Strix 1000W PSU. Doing so will get you an additional $58 discount, but you will need to buy all three items together. You can also check out the best GPU under $250 in 2024 for more cheap parts.
