Nvidia fans are eagerly waiting for the RTX 50-series GPUs. These are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025. So far, Nvidia hasn’t shared any official details about the cards, such as their features or prices. However, a UK-based custom PC builder site called OPSYS now includes the RTX 5090 in their list of GPUs. Not only that, but they’ve also revealed what could be the price for this new GPU.
RTX 5090 listed on OPSYS for £2,005
OPSYS is a site where you can build your own PC. You get to choose every component, from the case to the power supply. If you go to the graphics card section on their site and scroll down, you’ll find the RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 listed. The price shown for the card is £2,005. That’s about $2,085 when converted to US dollars. OPSYS doesn’t mention the exact variant of the card. However, they do say that customers can choose a specific model after the card is officially released.
On top of that, OPSYS has priced the pre-order option based on their “top-end estimate of what the most premium brand model will cost.” If someone selects a lower-grade card after the launch, the company will refund the amount. For months, rumors and leaks have suggested that the RTX 5090 will be priced significantly higher than the RTX 4090, and the price mentioned by OPSYS seems to support these claims.
For those who don’t know, the RTX 4090 was launched with a price tag of $1,599 in the US (without tax) and £1,649 in the UK (VAT included). If the price mentioned on OPSYS turns out to be accurate, then we can expect the top-end model to cost between $1,950 to $2,000 in the US. In any case, the RTX 50 series is expected to be announced at CES 2025. Nvidia will likely reveal the official features and prices during the event. For now, if you’re building a PC on OPSYS, you can add the RTX 5090 to your configuration. But remember, the final price and details might still change after Nvidia officially releases the card.
