Nintendo Switch 2 is reportedly getting a Diablo IV port next month, joining Diablo III & Diablo II, which are already available via their Switch 1 releases. However, according to the leak, Diablo IV will be exclusive to the second-gen Switch console. Pre-orders are expected to launch at BlizzCon 2026, taking place at Anaheim Convention Center on September 12 and 13.

More than three years have passed since Diablo IV was released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Nintendo released the Switch 2 in June 2025, so fans have been waiting a little while for an official port to make its way to the popular console. Leaks from two official classification boards in Indonesia and Taiwan suggest the Age of Hatred Collection version is coming soon.

Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection coming to Nintendo Switch 2

According to established leaker billbil-kun, reporting for Dealabs, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection will be available on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, just a few days after this year’s BlizzCon wraps up. The game’s Age of Hatred Collection includes the base game, along with Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred DLCs.

Billbil-kun says this “exact release date” has been confirmed. Fans may get an official confirmation of the port during Gamescom 2026, which is happening between August 26 and August 30 in Cologne, though this is yet to be confirmed. The leak is much more certain about the pre-order date, which is set for September 12, when BlizzCon kicks off.

Pricing has also been revealed. The collection will reportedly cost $69.99 / £62.99 / €69.99. If it does indeed make an appearance at Gamescom, we should soon see a confirmation of the information above. If not, we’ll likely have to wait until BlizzCon for an announcement. Either way, references to Diablo IV on Switch 2 have been made as far back as April.

The game will reportedly not come with a physical cartridge, although there will be a physical release. As per the leak, Diablo IV will be available boxed with a code inside – no cartridge to be seen. It’s worth noting that Nintendo Switch 2’s standard game cartridges only offer up to 64GB of storage space, so this may be due to a space restriction, if we were to speculate.
