DJI Mic Mini 2 expected specs & features
One of the biggest changes is the design. The Mic Mini 2 is said to come with interchangeable magnetic faceplates, and there will be up to ten color options available. This will allow users to customize how the microphone looks, which can be useful for creators who want their gear to match their setup or look.
In terms of audio, the Mic Mini 2 will bring three voice tone presets. These include Normal for balanced and clear sound, Bright for sharper highs, and Rich for deeper bass. This will make it easier to adjust voice output depending on the recording scenario. Aside from that, it is expected to keep features like 48 kHz 24-bit audio quality, automatic anti-clipping, and two-level noise reduction.
Battery life also appears to be similar to the first model. The transmitter can last up to 11.5 hours, while the receiver offers around 10.5 hours. The charging case can extend total usage up to 48 hours, which should be enough for long recording sessions.
