RTX 5070 Ti reviews show mixed benchmarking results
The video goes into plenty of benchmarking detail, where comparisons between the RTX 5070 Ti and several of the brand’s last-gen GPUs are made. He also rightly outlines the fact that, while an MSRP of $749 has been set for the new GPU, many early listings (which should be taken with a pinch of salt) claim pricing between $850-900 – with one retailer even pushing an MSRP of over $1,000.

Despite going hard on the video’s headline, Gamer Nexus does tell both sides of the story, highlighting the card’s (RTX 5070 Ti) 28-35% 4K performance uplift over its predecessor. Sadly, that’s where much of the good news ends – as he quickly focuses his attention on one particular benchmark that shows a lackluster 3.9% uplift over the 4070 Ti Super. That said, let’s not forget that other benchmarks highlight up to 20% uplift against the same card.
Like always, Gamer Nexus performs a whole host of performance benchmarks for the RTX 5070 Ti – so we would definitely invite you to check out the results for yourself, as the card’s performance can vary depending on the game and resolution.
Overall, it’s more shots fired at Nvidia at this stage. Gamer Nexus has a pretty loyal following of over 2.4 million subscribers right now, meaning his opinion is seen by a huge range of gamers and PC builders. It’ll be interesting to see what the RTX 5070 Ti launches for – and whether the claims of $850-900 are confirmed tomorrow. The card is expected to go live at 2 pm GMT tomorrow in EU/US/CA – here are the latest where to buy details if you’re interested.
