First RTX 5050 graphics cards appear at popular online retailer, with a bunch of models at MSRP
Nvidia has officially announced the RTX 5050, though consumers in the West aren’t able to buy one just yet. The official release window has been set for the second half of July, but we’ve already seen reviewers in China getting their hands on them. Regardless, Newegg is one popular U.S. and Canada retailer which has started listing the RTX 5050 early; we’ve already seen retailers over in the UK doing the same. See our ‘Where to buy RTX 5050‘ page if you want a complete list.
An early launch in China has at least given us a look at some gaming benchmarks, where the 5050’s native performance is slightly below the RTX 4060. The 50 series card’s access to DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, however, remains a main selling point. While we don’t know exactly when you’ll be able to buy the RTX 5050 in the U.S., it must be incredibly close, now that retailers like Newegg have listed a whole bunch of models with their price tags visible.
| Graphics card | Price |
|---|---|
| ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5050 | $249.99 |

| ZOTAC Twin Edge GeForce RTX 5050 | $259.99 |
| ZOTAC Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 5050 | $269.99 |
| ZOTAC Twin Edge OC White Edition GeForce RTX 5050 | $279.99 |
| ZOTAC SOLO GeForce RTX 5050 | $249.99 |
| GIGABYTE WINDFORCE GeForce RTX 5050 | $249.99 |
| GIGABYTE Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 | $269.99 |
| GIGABYTE Low Profile GeForce RTX 5050 | $259.99 |
| MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 | $279.99 |
| MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5050 | $269.99 |
| MSI SHADOW GeForce RTX 5050 | $249.99 |
The very first RTX 5050 listing we spotted in the U.S. was the MSI Gaming RTX 5050 Shadow 2X OC, which was briefly available for pre-order on Amazon with a release date set for July 1. It gave us some hope of an early launch, but the (presumed) mistake was soon amended, and the card remains ‘Currently unavailable’.
The RTX 5050 has an MSRP of $249, which is $50 cheaper than the 8GB RTX 5060. Both are 8GB graphics cards, while the 5050 settles for GDDR6 memory compared to the 5060’s upgraded GDDR7. We don’t expect the RTX 5050 to be a particularly popular option, but it is indeed the cheapest way to get access to DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation.
