Intel fans are currently looking forward to the launch of the 15th-gen lineup. However, even though the new processors haven’t arrived yet, we’ve already started seeing discounts on a number of CPUs from the previous generation. In fact, according to Camelcamelcamel, some of them, including the high-end 14900K, have dropped to their all-time lowest prices on Amazon, providing an excellent opportunity for you to upgrade your CPU.

Big discounts on Intel 14th-gen CPUs

On Amazon, you can find the following Intel CPUs at their all-time low prices:

First, we have the Intel Core i9-14900K. This is a high-end processor in the 14th-gen lineup, one that can handle CPU-intensive tasks like 4K gaming and content creation smoothly. It offers 24 cores, divided into 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores, and 32 threads. The Efficient cores handle light tasks that don’t require a lot of processing power, while Performance cores are activated during demanding tasks.

We reviewed the 14900K and gave it 4 out of 5 points. In our tests, it was able to score 927.6 points in the CPU Z single-core test and 17074.2 points in the multi-core test. On the other hand, in Geekbench single and multi-core tests, it scored 2,224 and 25,102 points, respectively.

Next, we have the Intel Core i7-14700, the ‘locked’ variant of the 14700K we reviewed. This is a mid-range processor, offering a great blend of price and performance. It comes with 20 cores (8 P-cores and 12 E-cores), 28 threads, and a max boost clock of 5.4 GHz. Two of its variants, the 14700KF and 1400K, are also available at discounted prices. ‘K’ processors are basically unlocked, so you can overclock them to improve their performance. On the other hand, ‘KF’ CPUs are the same as ‘K,’ but they don’t have integrated graphics.

Finally, for those who are on a budget, we have the Core i5-14600KF. Boasting 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, 20 threads, and a max boost clock of 5.3 GHz, this CPU is great for those who don’t want to overspend on a processor but still want something that can deliver decent performance. And since it is the ‘KF’ variant, you can overclock it to improve its performance. However, do keep in mind that it does not have integrated graphics, so you will need to pair it with a dedicated GPU.
