Gears of War E-Day Open Beta content & rewards
The second beta will give players a chance to try two of the game’s main multiplayer experiences. This includes Horde Siege, the latest evolution of Gears’ iconic PvE mode, alongside the refined 4v4 Versus multiplayer.
The beta includes one Horde Siege map, four classes, two Invasion bosses, two Versus modes, and two Versus maps. All weapons are available to players, while the overall player level is capped at 50. The beta only represents a portion of what will be available when Gears of War: E-Day launches. The full game will feature more maps, modes, progression options, and customization.
Players can also unlock several exclusive rewards by completing challenges during the beta. These include the Epic Blast Damage Mags Character Skin at Player Level 20, the Rare Crush the Bug Weapon Skin Set after extracting from Horde Siege eight times on Infantry difficulty or higher, and more. There is also an Open Beta Medal and First in the Fight Title for simply launching the multiplayer beta. And for those wondering, yes, these rewards will carry over to the full game when it launches.
