It was back in August last year when we first heard about GeForce Now finally coming to India. The major region that has lacked support since GFN was launched in 2015 (and left beta in 2020). Nvidia originally planned the launch to happen in November 2025, but several delays later, it has finally been announced for an April launch – for real this time.

Early access to GeForce Now has been announced for April 16 on official GeForce India accounts. This lines up with the regular GFN Thursday updates Nvidia provides each week. Last Thursday marked the launch of Samson for GFN, along with Morbid Metal, DayZ, and Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition. Starfield was also upgraded to RTX 5080 server support.

GeForce Now comes to India on April 16 – limited spaces available

Nvidia’s website now includes a page for GeForce Now in India, listing all the usual details such as support for the Ready-to-Play and Install-to-Play features, along with support for RTX 5080 servers on the top Ultimate plan. Nvidia made sweeping upgrades to the service last year, providing access to DLSS 4 for the first time – and support grows with each week.

According to an official post, Indian customers should keep an eye on their inbox for further details. Since it’s early access, the popular cloud gaming service won’t immediately be available to everyone in the region. Nvidia says “space will be limited,” though it’s unknown at this time just how many people will be able to log in on day one. Furthermore, it’s currently uncertain how long GFN in India will remain in early access, though we may soon find out as Thursday approaches.
