The latest round of GeForce Now updates has arrived, and along with the usual new game support, Nvidia has announced official GeForce Now support for Googlebooks, a new category of laptops that merge “the best of ChromeOS and Android” together. Nine new games join GFN this week, and it’s your last chance to grab a special offer on Control Resonant.

We’ve recently started to see brands unveiling their own Googlebook models (Google itself isn’t selling the hardware), including Acer’s 2-in-1 OLED design, advertised as the “first convertible Googlebook”. These laptops are designed with Gemini Intelligence in mind, featuring a Titan C security chip and multilayered protection while running the brand-new Googlebook OS.

Highlights from this week’s GeForce Now update

Nvidia has not revealed exactly when support is on the way, though Googlebook pre-orders have been live since September 21, with models arriving as soon as October 4, starting at $899. As such, we can maybe expect GeForce Now support to arrive in time for release. Googlebooks will have access to the cloud gaming library for GeForce RTX-powered streaming, without local installs.

GeForce NOW support is also coming soon to Googlebooks, Google’s new laptop category designed for Gemini Intelligence. Members will be able to stream games on the new class of device without local installs later this year.

Control Resonant bundle offer

Aside from the Googlebook news, one of the big takeaways from the weekly update is the limited-time Control Resonant offer. Nvidia is giving away the title, which was released on September 24, to those who purchase a 12-month GeForce Now Ultimate membership. This offer lasts through Sunday, September 27, so you only have a couple more days to grab it. At full retail price, Control Resonant costs $59.99 USD / £49.99 GBP.
