That’s right, all PlayStation 5 owners can now claim six months of Apple TV+ for free, even if you already have an active subscription. The promotion has just kicked off and lasts until July 22, 2022, so don’t worry if you can’t get hold of a console just yet (which is necessary when signing up for the deal).
Here’s the official steps you need to take to then watch Apple TV+ on any device (this offer connects directly to your Apple ID)
- Find the Apple TV app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home.
- Download and open the Apple TV app and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Sign in with your Apple ID or create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one.
- Enjoy your six free months of Apple TV+
This offer is open to anyone with a PlayStation Network account, Playstation Plus isn’t required. Viewers can then watch on any device where the Apple TV+ app is available by using the same Apple ID used to sign up to the offer.
Existing Apple TV+ subscribers can take advantage of the deal providing their subscription isn’t the result of another offer (such as free Apple TV+ with a new iPad for example). Subscribers can then kick back and check out the latest and greatest from the platform, or maybe start your subscription when the highly anticipated ‘Foundation’ releases? The choice is yours.
