Googlebook pre orders are live and already starting to sell out, here’s where to buy one in US, UK, and Canada

Pre-orders for new Googlebook laptops went live on September 21, and it seems people have been flocking to them, as the official Google store is running out of stock. On the bright side, you can still find some models at third-party retailers, depending on your region, so we’ve put together a list of the best places to buy one in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Perhaps the most unique of the bunch is Acer’s 14-inch 2-in-1 design, fitted with an OLED panel; Acer calls it the “first convertible Googlebook”. Google has partnered with five brands to develop these new Gemini Intelligence-focused laptops – alongside Acer, models are available from ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. The Googlebook range will start shipping on October 4 and starts at $899.
Googlebook – US retailers
Starting in the United States, where stock levels seem to be suffering the most, here’s where to buy a Googlebook. Interestingly, a couple of them are not currently available directly from the Google Store, but remain on Best Buy (and the brand’s own outlet). Some, such as Acer’s official store, do not offer pre-orders and will instead have stock upon release.

Over in the UK, the laptops are not currently available for pre-order directly from the Google Store, but they should arrive on or before October 5. However, we have spotted some pre-orders at local retailer Currys in the meantime.

Finally, Googlebook stock in Canada is also lacking at the official Google Store, as it currently only lists them as ‘Coming Soon’. However, Best Buy has you covered, and the ASUS model has a variety of retailers to choose from.

On top of all that, you also get 12 months of Luminar. Despite being a more productivity-focused laptop, there’s also 12 months of GeForce Now on the gaming side of things. Nvidia recently announced the popular cloud streaming service will soon support Googlebook laptops.

As mentioned before, Googlebook models start from $899 in the United States. In the UK and Canada, they start at £999 and C$1,299, respectively, but prices do vary a fair amount depending on the model you opt for.
