In what feels like something of a turn of events, GTA 6 is getting a physical media launch. Sadly for fans of game discs, it’s not for the game itself, but for the newly unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Rockstar Games announced the “34-track official soundtrack album” today and revealed just 6 of the 34 singles that will feature. There’s still no word of a physical game disc.

Rockstar says the album features “a genre-defying roster of the most exciting artists in the world,” but it’s fair to imagine this isn’t close to the number of songs available across the game’s radio stations. Grand Theft Auto V featured just over 240 licensed songs at launch, and that number has grown to more than 530 during its lifetime. The album should be just a taster of what’s on the radio in Leonida.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album unveiled by Rockstar Games

Rockstar has already unveiled six debut singles from various popular artists, including a Travis Scott track produced by one half of Daft Punk and something wildly different from Keith Richards (of The Rolling Stones). These singles are actually making their debut in GTA 6, and you can listen to them right now via various platforms. Here’s the full list announced so far:

  • That’s It – Yung Lean, feat. Future and Metro Boomin’
  • RHYNO – Travis Scott (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
  • Sexy Magic – CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy
  • Last Thing You Need – Morgan Wallen
  • Macacoa 2000 – Rauw Alejandro
  • Bright Lights, Big City – Keith Richards

This kind of promotion isn’t anything new to the franchise, as GTA 5 also got ‘The Music of Grand Theft Auto V’ at launch, featuring contributions from real-life artists. As we said, with the GTA 6 album, this should just be a small snippet of the game’s full soundtrack, likely featuring hundreds of songs you may or may not be familiar with. Leaked GTA 6 footage from last month gave us a quick glimpse of some of the game’s radio stations, which, based on the leak, are as follows:

  • Circoloco Records Radio
  • Emotion
  • Dirty South Classics
  • V-Rock
  • Radio On.U
  • Honey FM
  • Back Country Radio
  • Symphony FM
