CES 2025 is currently taking place and we’re already seen the launch of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series. As expected, the flagship model in the new line-up is the RTX 5090 and it has been revealed that it will set you back an eye-watering $1,999. That’s just for the Founders Edition card, so there’s a chance that third-party AIBs could cost you a little more depending on design or overclock.
However, there’s now a chance you can get the new RTX 5090 for absolutely free as Nvidia has kicked off its #GeForceRTX50 Sweepstakes program.

What do you get from the RTX 5090?
The RTX 5090 will be the most powerful GPU on the market once it is released. If you’re lucky enough to get one for free, you’ll have the best graphics card for gaming and content creation, featuring the latest DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation (which is exclusive to the 50 series). Using this tech to its highest potential, Nvidia boasts that the 5090 is “2X faster than the GeForce RTX 4090“.
