If you’ve been waiting to buy a Hyte Y-series PC case, now might be the right time. This is because they’ve just announced a price drop for several of its popular cases, including the Y40, Y60, Y70, and the high-end Y70 Touch Infinite. These new prices start today, and bring some of the cases back to their original pre-tariff pricing.

For those who don’t know, earlier this year, Hyte had to increase prices due to tariffs. These tariffs affected the cost of parts and production, resulting in price hikes for end consumers. This included its popular Y-series cases, which are known for their stylish design and strong build quality. The good news is that prices are now being lowered again.

What are the new prices?

The company has been keeping an eye on the tariff situation, and they’re finally able to bring costs back down for some of its cases. Hyte showed off a flurry of new Y70 case colors at Computex a couple of months ago, so it’s nice to see the prices drop back down. The newer X50 cases are unaffected by the price changes.

Here are the new prices:

ProductOld priceNew price
Y70 Touch Infinite
Y70 + Y70 Touch Infinite Display Upgrade
$439.99$399.99
Y70$239.99$219.99
Y60$199.99$179.99
Y40$139.99$129.99

It is important to keep in mind that, according to Hyte, licensed products are still affected by tariffs. That means any cases that are part of a special edition or partnership deal will stay at a higher price for now. These items take more time and cost more to make, and the tariffs still apply to them. Hyte has also introduced a new bundle for the Y70 case. You can now buy the Y70 case and the Touch Infinite display upgrade together for $399.99. This makes it easier and cheaper to upgrade your setup with a built-in display.

In any case, it’s great to see that the brand has dropped the prices of its popular series of ‘fishtank’ style PC cases. Great news for anyone who was planning to get one. Hyte certainly delivered some of the best PC cases from this year’s Computex – and not just from the Y-series.
