Outside of your regular old desktop or laptop, we’ve already seen Nvidia bring native GeForce Now support to the likes of the Steam Deck, and as far as TVs go, Nvidia has long partnered with LG, which included an upgrade to 4K 120 FPS game streaming last year. While the same kind of functionality still isn’t coming to Amazon Fire TVs, Nvidia is bringing more support to those using Fire TV Sticks.

Nvidia launched its native GeForce Now app for Amazon Fire TV sticks earlier this year, following an announcement at CES 2026. That update made the software available on two generations of the 4K sticks, but falls short of bringing built-in GFN functionality to Amazon Fire TVs. Unfortunately, we still aren’t getting this (perhaps due to a lack of processing power), but Nvidia is making it easier for users to top up their subscriptions.

What’s new with GeForce Now this week?

A new way to join the action is also coming: Fire TV users will soon be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon, creating a more seamless path from device setup to gameplay. Keep an eye out for availability in the coming weeks.

A further press release sent out to us clarifies that “GeForce NOW members using Amazon Fire sticks will soon be able to purchase new memberships straight from their device directly through Amazon,” which seems to suggest no direct support on your Amazon Fire TV, but more ways to pay if you’re running GFN on a compatible Amazon Fire TV Stick.

10 new games on GeForce Now

In addition to the Fire Stick news, there’s also a total of 10 new games joining the service this week. This includes the newly released Gears of War: E-Day, which launched on October 6 following a period of early access for fans who bought the $100 Premium Edition.
