Last month, we saw Intel’s latest CPUs finally dropping in price, which is probably for the best considering their lukewarm response. Well, in fact, we only saw the middle-of-the-pack Core Ultra 7 265K & 265KF models dropping in price. We reviewed the 265K and gave it a disappointing average review. It’s not bad, but AMD’s alternatives had the one-up.

A price drop was just what these needed, and now, the desktop processors are again getting a price cut at popular retailers, including Amazon and Newegg. These models are now even cheaper than the price drops we saw in May.

As you can see above, both models are on offer at Amazon, while just the KF version is discounted at Amazon. If you’re unsure of the difference, the 265KF does not come with integrated graphics, while the 265K does. Useful if you don’t yet have a GPU or need some basic graphics support as a backup.

Newegg is also running a unique offer that means you get the 265KF bundled with some DDR5 RAM. Specifically, it’s 16GB of Patriot Viper Venom DDR5-6400 RAM, which is usually worth $65. This isn’t too dissimilar to a recent offer we spotted on Newegg, which bundles the 9800X3D with a 1TB SSD. So, if you’re looking to upgrade your gaming rig on multiple fronts, this is a good place to start.

While all the rage seems to be about AMD now in terms of gaming CPUs, Intel still has an excellent selection. The 265K/KF models at this price range certainly make them much more appealing, and we hope to see Team Blue’s flagship Core Ultra 9 285K drop further in price, too.
