There has been a great deal of online buzz surrounding the sophisticated ‘Life Simulator' inZOI. A new blog post from the developer has revealed a new feature for the game that is set to make the simulated people and creatures more realistic.

Though, according to developers Krafto, the title is not meant to be a rival to The Sims, many fans of that game have responded with enthusiasm to inZOI, seeing potential in its world and characters. Krafton has now unveiled a new ‘Smart Zoi' feature that has been designed to bring further realism.

The Smart Zoi feature doesn’t have to be demanding

Though Smart Zoi is listed as an experimental feature, the development team is keen to test these new features. They have therefore invited interested players to enable the feature for testing, provided the system requirements are met.

These new AI-powered features are not as demanding on your processor as you might think, but it’s the GPU specs that require more modern hardware. A PC with an Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 can manage it if paired with an Nvidia RTX 3060. Of course, Krafton recommends considerably higher specs for those who want to get the best out of the inZOI AI features.

For the recommended specification, the developers suggest an RTX 5070 or 4070 Super graphics card. As for the ‘high’ requirements, you’ll want a brand-new RTX 5070 Ti or above and the latest-gen Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

The Smart Zoi feature has been created with the aim of enhancing the behaviour of the Zoi characters to allow them to react to the environment with “Personality and realism.” This matches the existing ethos of inZOI, in which users create realistic digital characters and guide them through the everyday tasks and events of life.

There is also a cute, fluffy white cat, which obviously improves things immensely.
