AMD fans have been eagerly waiting for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D processors. These CPUs were first revealed at CES 2025, where AMD confirmed that they would launch in the first quarter of 2025. While AMD shared the specifications during the event, they did not reveal the prices. However, a recent leak seems to have changed that.

9950X3D and 9900X3D prices leaked

A well-known leaker on X, @momomo_us, has found both CPUs listed on major online stores like Amazon and Newegg. While the listings on Amazon are no longer available, Newegg still has both the 9950X3D and 9900X3D listed as “coming soon.”

While the listings haven’t revealed the price, the leak also includes information from a price or availability tracking website. According to this data, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D will cost $699.99, while the Ryzen 9 9900X3D will be priced at $599. This pricing matches what AMD charged for their previous generation of CPUs, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D, when they first launched.

While AMD has confirmed that these CPUs will launch in Q1 2025, an exact release date is still unknown. The “coming soon” listing on Newegg suggests that the launch could happen soon, possibly within the next few weeks. If this is the case, then AMD could make an official announcement about their release date soon.

In any case, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D will offer 16 cores, 32 threads, and a cache size of 144 MB. On top of that, it will have a TDP of 170W and a boost clock speed of 5.7 GHz. The 9900X3D, on the other hand, will have 12 cores, 24 threads, and a max boost clock speed of 5.5 GHz, while boasting a TDP of 120W.
