Lenovo unveils impressive new Legion gaming monitor with QHD 320Hz display and affordable price tag
Table of Contents
Lenovo has expanded its Legion gaming lineup with a new monitor aimed primarily at competitive gamers. The Legion 27Q-20 has launched in China, combining a 27-inch QHD display with a high refresh rate while keeping its price relatively affordable, at least based on the China pricing so far (we’ll have to wait for a global release for an official conversion).
The monitor uses a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. However, its biggest highlight is the 320Hz refresh rate, which should make it a strong option for fast-paced competitive games. Higher refresh rates offer much smoother motion handling, which can be particularly useful in shooters and other games where quick reactions matter.

Aside from that, its IPS panel covers 99% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color spaces, supports 1.07 billion colors, and offers 10-bit color through 8-bit + FRC. This means it should also be suitable for everyday content creation and other work where good color reproduction is useful. Brightness, on the other hand, reaches 400 nits, and the monitor carries DisplayHDR 400 certification. The typical contrast ratio is rated at 1,000:1, which is fairly standard for an IPS panel.
Connectivity is relatively simple. You get two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports and one DisplayPort 1.4, giving users several options for connecting a gaming PC or other devices.
Overall, the Legion 27Q-20 looks best suited to gamers who want the combination of 1440p resolution and an extremely high refresh rate without moving to a more expensive display. While it’s priced at 1,149 yuan in China (roughly $172), the company has not yet shared any plans to release it globally.
