What to expect from the new Metro game
This new title will be the fourth mainline entry in the Metro series, which is based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. The previous games, Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, and Metro Exodus, all explored life after nuclear devastation, focusing on survivors living in the Moscow subway system and the dangerous world outside.
While details about the new game are still limited, there are already some hints about its tone. Glukhovsky has suggested that this entry will be darker than anything seen before in the series. This points toward a heavier story, possibly with more emotional depth and a stronger focus on the harsh realities of its post-apocalyptic setting.
As for what to expect from today’s reveal, it will likely be a cinematic trailer rather than full gameplay. Players can expect to see glimpses of the world, potential characters, and the kind of enemies they will face.
