What does the bundle offer?

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X3D

For starters, we have the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, a budget option in the X3D lineup, designed to deliver solid performance in gaming without breaking the bank. It comes equipped with 6 cores and 12 threads, paired with a base frequency of 4.1 GHz. However, for better performance in demanding tasks like gaming, it can be boosted up to 4.7 GHz. The best part is that it has a low TDP of 65W, which means you won’t have to pair it with a massive PSU. For US customers, the 7600X3D is exclusive to Micro Center.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X V2

Next, we have the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X V2, a decent motherboard compatible with AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. In terms of design, it has a clean look, with no flashy features like RGB lights. However, it still has fully covered MSFET Heatsinks for thermal management.

When it comes to specifications, the board can support up to four DDR5 RAM sticks, but the maximum capacity shouldn’t exceed 256 GB. This, however, should be more than enough for most users. For storage, you’ll get three M.2 slots for SSDs, along with four SATA 6Gb/s ports that can be used to connect standard HDDs. It also supports WiFi 6E, but it has a 2.5G LAN port for those who prefer a wired connection.

RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5

The bundle also includes G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5 RAM. There aren’t two 8GB sticks. Instead, you’ll get a single 16GB stick that can reach a max speed of up to 6,000 MHz. Most games these days require 16GB, but you can always upgrade in the future if you run into any memory-related issues.

How much will you save?

If you buy the three components individually, you’re looking at a total bill of around $610. However, thanks to Micro Center’s offer, you can get them for just $449.99. In other words, you’ll save $160 with this offer.
