Intel has been working on the upcoming Core Ultra lineup, the next generation of mainstream desktop processors, AKA Intel 15th gen. Earlier, it was speculated that these CPUs would be released soon after Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V processors are launched. This happened on September 3rd, however, we do not yet have an official release date for the desktop CPUs.
Now, Intel also does not officially have too many details about the upcoming Core Ultra CPUs. From what we have seen in online speculation and leaks, the Arrow Lake series will be more powerful than its predecessors, as should be expected. The pricing is what we’re most interested in today though, as a Canadian retailer may have just given us an idea of what’s to come.
Leaker shares prices of the Core Ultra CPUs from a retail website
As per momomo_us on X, an unnamed Canadian retail website has listed the Core Ulta CPUs for sale. The processors that can be seen in the screenshot are Core Ultra 9, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 5 SKUs. The product code also reveals the different models, including the flagship Ultra 9 285K down to the Ultra 5 245K & 245KF.
However, the highlight of this post is that the retail prices of these processors are clearly visible. Here’s what the leak indicates (conversions made at the time of writing):
CPU | Leaked price (CAD) | Leaked price (USD, converted) |
---|---|---|
Core Ultra 9 285K | $847.99 | $625.10 |
Core Ultra 7 265KF | $563.99 | $415.75 |
Core Ultra 7 265K | $584.99 | $431.23 |
Core Ultra 5 245KF | $484.99 | $357.51 |
Core Ultra 5 345K | $447.99 | $330.24 |
As you can see, the list does not include Core Ultra 3 variants, which were speculated to be a part of the Arrow Lake lineup. In fact, a recent leak even outlined some of their specs. Further, these prices are for Canada, which gives us a good reference for what the prices might look like in the US, as per our conversions above. In any case, we will know more about the prices and availability as the launch draws near.
In case you missed it, Intel rolled out the Core Ultra 200V processors last week on September 3rd. The Lunar Lake processors are power-efficient and will be seen on thin and lightweight laptops.
