Table of Contents
Newegg gaming PC deals are still rolling in, and we’ve found an RTX 5080 prebuild that’s well worth a look. We’ve spotted this superb MSI Aegis gaming PC with $500 off, and it’s now reduced from $3,699.00 to $3,199.00.
This is another premium offering from MSI, so you’re getting a bigger price tag, but excellent build quality, cooling, and components. The RTX 5080 paired with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a great combo for gaming, and it also packs 64GB of DDR5 RAM, which gives you enough headroom for beefy gaming system requirements or RAM-intensive applications. If you’re looking for something excellent for 1440p and 4K gaming, which packs a visual punch, too, then this is qa uality option to go for.

Key features of this MSI Aegis ZS2 Gaming desktop
Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor
One of the best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D features a unique L3 cache that allows for super-fast data access and more storage than your typical processor. It comes in at 96MB, which is massive, and when combined with a boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, delivers exceptional gaming performance at high framerates. You can read our full review here for a deeper dive.
RTX 5080 graphics card
Another beastly component to have in this build, the RTX 5080 is one of the most popular high-end options for 4K gaming, and it excels at 1440p, delivering extremely high framerates. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means you’re getting the latest 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and new and improved GDDR7 VRAM. On top of that, there’s also MFG, which can dramatically increase perceived framerates and make games feel super smooth, too.
64GB of RAM and 2TB SSD
A heftier offering than most prebuilds, but a welcome one, especially if you’re looking for something to handle RAM-intensive games, like heavily modded open-world titles, and have enough room for a large gaming library, too.

Special features
This PC has the latest WIFI 7 connectivity, for blisteringly fast online gaming speeds and super speedy streaming. It also features MSI’s AI Engine and FROZR AI cooling, which can learn on the go and adjust fan speeds according to what you’re using the PC for. This is great for keeping cooling effective, but ensuring that you don’t have to endure any unnecessary noise levels for less demanding tasks.
Considerations and alternatives
In short, even with the discount, this is one of the more expensive RTX 5080 prebuilds out there. You can find cheaper, with some options hovering around $2,500 when discounted, but they will likely have an older-gen processor. This could be something like a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or a mid-range Intel 14th-gen option. The build will also be unlikely to be from a brand as well-known as the likes of MSI, Gigabyte, or ASUS. More affordable options can typically be found with Skytech, ABS, Yeyian, and iBuyPower, from our experience.
