A brand-new Philips Evnia monitor has been unveiled, due to be released next month. The Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A is a 32-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. It’s got many of the regular bells and whistles for this sort of display, including FreeSync Premium Pro and USB-C power delivery (PD), but it’s also got Philips’ AmbiScape and Ambiglow technology on board.

Philips introduced AmbiScape earlier this year. The technology enables your Evnia gaming monitor to sync with smart lighting within your room, reacting to on-screen changes and dynamically changing your smart light bars, lamps, or whatever else to match the content. The whole system is designed to create a more immersive gaming experience.

Ambiglow, on the other hand, has been around for more than a decade – it’s in the Evnia 27M2N5901A released last October and most other mid-to-high-end Evnia monitors. Ambiglow uses a similar principle to AmbiScape, except it projects light directly from the back of the monitor, synchronized with whatever is showing on your screen.

Press release in full

Amsterdam, 21 July 2026 – The Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A, a QD-OLED gaming monitor, perfectly balances high colour quality and gameplay performance in stunning 4K.

Featuring a 32-inch QD-OLED panel, it delivers stunning HDR visuals in 4K Ultra High Definition (3840 x 2160) resolution. Balancing both top-tier colour quality delivered through QD-OLED technology and smooth, high-performance gameplay with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response time, this monitor is built for gamers looking to upgrade their setup to get the most out of their favourite titles.

HDR visuals and true 10-bit colours

Designed to pull the user deeper into every world, this Evnia monitor combines advanced panel technology with striking visual detail. Powered by a QD-OLED panel, it delivers high contrast and vibrant colour, with deep blacks and bright highlights in stunning VESA certified DisplayHDR True Black 400 colour quality.

With 4K UHD resolution, every scene is rendered with exceptional clarity – from expansive landscapes to the smallest details during gameplay â€“ supporting both immersion and in-game awareness. This is paired with true 10-bit colour, enabling smoother gradients and more natural transitions that add depth and realism to every frame.

Designed with long game sessions in mind, the Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A features Low Blue Mode technology alongside an advanced Low Blue Light panel design, reducing harmful blue light emissions without compromising colour accuracy. The result is less eye strain, making it easier to stay in the game for longer.

AI-enhanced Ambiglow and AmbiScape lighting features for a more immersive gaming setup

To extend the experience beyond the screen, the Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A features AI-Enhanced Ambiglow, which projects light from the back of the monitor and synchronises it with the on-screen content. The result is a wider visual atmosphere that makes games, movies, and everyday entertainment feel more immersive.

AmbiScape adds another layer to the setup by creating customisable lighting effects around the monitor environment and synchronising compatible external light sources with on-screen content. Together, AI-Enhanced Ambiglow and AmbiScape help shape a gaming space that feels more responsive, atmospheric, and personal.

Fluid 165 Hz motion and 0.03 ms response time for precise control

Built for players who demand absolute control in every frame, the latest Evnia display is engineered with motion at its core. At the foundation is an ultra-fast 0.03 ms GtG response time, ensuring pixels transition almost instantly so motion stays sharp and free from distracting ghosting even in the most action-packed scenes. This speed is amplified by a 165 Hz refresh rate, delivering consistently smooth, fluid motion that can keep up in any encounter.

Completing the system, the Low Input Lag feature minimises processing delay between input signal and display output. This ensures a direct, time-accurate response to user actions, supporting precise control in latency-sensitive scenarios.

Additional features

Beyond its high performance and visuals, this Evnia monitor completes the gaming setup with features designed for comfort, control, and seamless connectivity:

  • Two built-in 5W speakers
  • USB-C connectivity with up to 90W charging by Smart Power
  • The Compact Ergo Base stand: including adjustable height, tilt, and swivel

Prices and availability

Designed for modern gaming setups, the Philips Evnia monitor delivers performance, immersion, and control.
The Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A will be available for purchase from August and at an MSRP of £649.99.
