Philips’ Evnia series continues to push the boundaries in the gaming monitor space. Today, it announced that it will be launching two new high-speed gaming monitors in its Evnia range.

The new lineup will include the Evnia 27M2N8500, a 360Hz 1440p model, and the larger Evnia 32M2N8900, a similarly specced 31.5″ 240Hz variant. The models are set to launch throughout the UK and Europe in September and October 2024.

Both panels are set to hit shelves at the higher end of the pricing spectrum, but that’s to be expected when you factor in the premium features and hardware specifications they both bring to the table.

Evnia 27M2N8500 & Evnia 32M2N8900: Press release

The Philips Evnia 27M2N8500 will hit the gaming market with powerful specifications. And clocking up to a swift 360 Hz refresh rate, this monitor brings any gamer up to speed. Meanwhile, the Philips Evnia 32M2N8900 is equipped with a 31.5-inch QD-OLED-panel, its 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and 240 Hz refresh rate are ideal for playing games that have a visual emphasis.

Furthermore, Philips’ OLED and QD-OLED displays are covered by a three-year factory warranty, which includes OLED and QD-OLED burn-in coverage1.

Picture perfect gaming quality

A common feature of both models is the QD-OLED panel, certified with DisplayHDR True Black 400. With this, these monitors can produce vivid colours and deep blacks with an infinite contrast ratio. In addition to this, the 27M2N8500 features true 10-bit colour depth to produce high-quality visuals with smooth gradients; while the 32M2N8900 offers UltraClear 4K UHD resolution and Ultra-Wide-Color technology, which can deliver high performance with a wider spectrum of colours. Therefore, they create an experience where gamers can expect smooth and colourful images that are adapted to any type of speed and style of gameplay.

Game with speed

Aside from the beautiful imagery, they also have some powerful specs under their belt when it comes to speed: with an ultra-fast 360 Hz refresh rate, the Philips Evnia 27M2N8500 can provide a sharp and smooth gaming experience, thereby allowing gamers to see targets faster and more clearly. On the other hand, the Philips Evnia 32M2N8900 provides 240 Hz refresh rate for a perfect gaming experience. Adding to the two monitors‘ gaming features is the Smart Crosshair, which automatically changes the colour of the crosshair overlay against the game’s background and, therefore, ultimately making it easier to spot and aim targets.
