Resident Evil Requiem bundle for RTX 50 series GPUs gets extended while deals sink prices closer to MSRP
Table of Contents
Despite the PC building market being a little bit of a mess, given all the RAM and SSD price hikes, there are still some deals out there to enjoy. Increasing costs have also affected the GPU market, though we’ve recently seen RTX 50 series GPUs dropping back closer towards MSRP (the Resident Evil Requiem bundle has been a great help, too).
Moving into April, there’s a new selection of RTX 50 series deals to check out, centered around a couple of the most popular retailers in the UK. Better yet, Nvidia’s Resident Evil Requiem bundle is still available thanks to an extension. Scan lists availability until April 6 – it was originally only available until March 16. A free Standard copy of the game comes with the RTX 5070 or higher.

Are these new RTX 50 series deals worth it?
We have to admit that the majority of these RTX 50 series GPUs are still sitting above MSRP, compared to the prices available back in July last year, in the months following release. Based on what we could gather, these were the recommended prices set by Nvidia at the time; the RTX 5050 launched for $249 USD, which translated to around £219 in the UK.

Despite this, the Scan and Overclockers UK deals above are worth considering while they’re still live. GPU prices are not expected to return to ‘normal’ levels incredibly soon, especially as memory prices continue to prove problematic for manufacturers. If you’re looking to upgrade to a current-gen graphics card right now, we suggest making the most of the Resident Evil Requiem bundle while it’s still available; you’re getting a game that retails for £59.99 for absolutely free, after all.
It should be noted that the RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060 Ti, and below never got a Founders Edition model – so you were always limited to AIB models that tend to bump up the price a little.
