Analysts and PC gaming fans have been impatiently waiting for Nvidia to officially announce the RTX 5060 Ti, and a new update to a benchmarking tool may indicate the day is close at hand. Benchmarking tools are commonly used by reviewers, developers, and customers to test the performance of their hardware. When these applications update to include as-yet unreleased hardware, it is usually an indication that a release is imminent.

AIDA64 is a testing and benchmarking software that can display detailed information on computer components. Unlike consumer-grade benchmarking software like 3D Mark, AIDA64 is designed for commercial use to run diagnostics and auditing on enterprise computers. AIDA64 developer FinalWire has just released a new version of AIDA64, which includes support for the latest hardware, including mention of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.

This update does not indicate that the developers have access to the component in question, just that they know how to program the application to correctly recognise the Device ID for the RTX 5060 Ti. If device ID information is available, however, this does point to a launch coming soon.

Also included in the AIDA64 update is support for Intel's upcoming Panther Lake CPUs, which are set to launch sometime in late 2025. AIDA64 can also now support the sensors used in the ASUS ROG Astral series of GPUs and the MSI Ai600T power supply.

Other updated features are as follows:

  • Greek localization
  • Improved support for Intel Panther Lake CPU
  • ASUS Astral-RTX5000 Series GPU sensor support
  • New hot key option to reset SensorPanel position
  • Improved support for Zhaoxin KX-6000G and KX-7000 Series processors
  • MSI MEG Ai1600T PSU sensor support
  • GPU details for AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE
  • GPU details for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

Nvidia is expected to officially announce the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 later this month, but Nvidia has not issued any confirmation of its plans.
