The RX 9060 XT is one of AMD’s newest cards, released nearly two months ago on June 5. AMD introduced two versions in the market: one with 8GB VRAM and the second with 16GB. The latter is better suited for 1440p gaming, while the 8GB version is a decent choice for those who don’t want to pay extra for more VRAM and just want a decent card for 1080p gaming.

The RX 9060 XT 8GB was originally introduced with an MSRP of $299, but the third-party models entered the market with a higher price tag, which is why many users have been waiting for a good price drop. Well, the good news is, some versions of the card are now available below MSRP.

AmazonPowerColor Reaper AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB$269.99
Micro CenterPowerColor AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Hellhound Overclocked Triple Fan 8GB$259.99

This is a much-needed price drop given the fact that the 16GB model is easily outselling the 8GB.

Two 9060 XT models are available for less than MSRP

The first card we’ve spotted is over at Micro Center. This is the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Hellhound Overclocked Triple Fan 8GB, currently listed for $259.99. That’s $90 off its original $349.99 price and about $40 less than the official MSRP. However, the downside is that it’s only available for in-store pickup, so you’ll need to visit a nearby Micro Center branch to pick it up.

For those who want to get it shipped to their home, don’t worry, we found a model on Amazon too – the PowerColor Reaper AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB. This one is currently available for $269.99, and while it’s $10 more than the Micro Center deal, it’s still well under MSRP and ships right to your home.

In any case, make sure to grab the card as soon as you can, as deals like these don’t usually last long, and the card can return above MSRP in just a few days. Keep in mind that if you’re looking for a GPU for 1440p gaming, then getting the 16GB version might be a better choice.
