Samsung Galaxy A18 specs and price leaked ahead of launch with limited RAM and storage options
Samsung launched its budget-friendly Galaxy A17 back in September 2025, so naturally rumors of its successor have been cropping up recently. Previous leaks already ‘confirmed’ its existence, but a new report has now given us a much clearer idea of what Samsung’s next budget phone could offer. Samsung is yet to officially announce the A18, but it may be coming soon.
The latest information comes from Billbil-kun, a leaker with a strong track record with this sort of hardware. According to the leak, the Galaxy A18 4G will launch in France with 128GB of storage and three color options: Black, Light Blue, and Gray. While earlier rumors suggested a 256GB model could also be available, it reportedly won’t be offered in France. However, Samsung could still release the higher-storage version in other regions.
Samsung Galaxy A18 rumored specs and price
One of the more interesting details from the leak is the processor. Previous rumors pointed toward the MediaTek Helio G99, but the Galaxy A18 will reportedly use Samsung’s new Exynos 1610 instead. The 5nm chip is said to feature eight CPU cores with speeds of up to 2.4GHz.

The phone will reportedly pair the processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also expected to be a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB of additional storage. It’s worth pointing out that the last-gen A17 offered up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, so this may be a cutback Samsung is making in the face of ongoing industry shortages.
On the front, Samsung is reportedly sticking with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a 90Hz refresh rate. For cameras, the Galaxy A18 is said to feature a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor, which is the same as its predecessor.
The Galaxy A18 will reportedly come with a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging, which is again the same as the A17. It is also expected to ship with Android 17 and receive up to six generations of OS and security updates.
As for pricing, Billbil-kun claims the Galaxy A18 4G will cost €279 in France. That’s actually €20 lower than the €299 price suggested by previous leaks. However, 4GB of RAM may be difficult to overlook at this price, especially as apps continue to become more demanding. The Exynos 1610 is also a new processor, so its real-world performance remains unknown for now.
