Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI feature creates a full transcript of your phone calls
Table of Contents
Samsung Unpacked is finally here and there have been a tonne of announcements so far, mainly on the huge innovations to Samsung Ai.
One of the latest features heading to Samsung Ai is the ability to create a transcript of your phone calls. This feature is also seemingly very user-friendly, and doesn’t require that you sift through various apps and menus to switch on.
This transcript feature is new to Samsung AI, and could prove incredibly useful when it comes to making sure all the important information is accessible after your call has finished. Important business calls, recording times and places to be, and key details should all become a breeze with this new feature – however, there are some unknowns.
Could you create a transcript without someone knowing?
There’s been a big push this Samsung Unpacked on privacy, specifically focusing on personal information being stored on the phone itself, rather than in the cloud. That’s key, as the AI advances when it learns more about us. But what about the issue of consent?
Some of the unknowns, at the time of writing, are exactly how the transcript feature works and if it takes two to tango – or sign off rather. Surely some phone calls have sensitive information, or perhaps information that people wouldn’t like a record of? Will there be a way of alerting the other person?

Samsung is going all-in on AI it seems, and we couldn’t be more excited. Not only are there even more innovations than we’d expected, but they seem to be tailored much more to real-world uses. We’re interested in getting our hands on the Galaxy S25 and putting it to the test ourselves, but in the meantime, stay tuned for more on what’s bound to be one of Samsung’s best phones of the year.
