What’s on sale this Summer on Steam?
In case you aren’t yet aware, the Steam Summer Sale is kicking off on June 27. If you’re interested in exactly when sales commence in your region, check out our Steam Summer Sale start time guide. So, with now just a day to go, we’ve put together a list of games that Steam kindly showed off in their official trailer, which you can find below.
Now then, what exactly is mentioned? To save you from keeping up with everything showcased in the minute-long trailer, we’ve put together a list. Some popular titles are mentioned, such as Manor Lords and Stellaris. Plus, recently viral games like Palworld and Content Warning are also featured, possibly breathing some extra life into their popularity:
- Rain World
- Palworld
- iRacing
- Disney Dreamlight Valley
- Supermarket Simulator
- Kebab Chefs! Restaurant Simulator
- Manor Lords
- Stellaris
- The Planet Crafter
- Content Warning
- Party Animals
- Ultimate Chicken Horse
- Roboquest
- Batman: Arkham Knight
However, as Kaci mentions in her voiceover, this list of games “is just barely scratching the surface” of what will actually be on sale during this year’s Summer event. In their post on X, Steam says that “thousands of sunny discounts” are coming, so we’ll have to wait and see what else is meeting the price axe.
Deep Discounts also coming this year
Alongside the list of games mentioned above, Steam also announced another sales initiative: Deep Discounts. Described as a “fun new category”, the Summer Sale Deep Discounts could lead to price cuts of 90% or 95% off, if the accompanying graphic in the trailer is anything to go by.
A wide library of games including Total War: Shogun, Disco Elysium, Civilization VI, Borderlands 2, and Battlefield V scroll by, so it could be an indication of what’s included in the Deep Discount catalog. However, this hasn’t been confirmed and should remain speculation for now.
