MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED 32-inch

3840 x 2160 (UHD) Computer Monitor, 240Hz, Adaptive-Sync, HDMI, DP Port, VESA Mountable, Tilt, Speaker, 0.03ms, White

Key features of this MSI MPG QD-OLED 32-inch gaming monitor

4K resolution and QD-OLED display

This resolution is ideal for anyone who wants to experience games in rich and crisp detail, and it’s also good for anyone who needs something for intricate design work, reading text, and video editing in higher resolutions, too. This is a QD-OLED monitor, which is essentially an enhanced OLED. It has a high peak brightness of 1000 nits, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio for lifelike picture quality, plus it has 99% DCI-P3 color with Delta E<2 accuracy, making it ideal for video editors and content creators.

240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time

This monitor has a very high 240Hz refresh rate, which allows you to game at over 200fps at 4K resolution. On top of that, it’s also got a very low response time of 0.03ms. This means that, even when playing at higher framerates, you won’t experience much in the way of ghosting and motion blur. That’s important for an overall smoother gaming experience, but it’s especially important with competitive gaming, as it helps you to track opponents’ movements closely on screen.

G-Sync compatible and ALLM

Both of these features are designed to improve overall gaming performance. G-Sync does this by working to eliminate screen tearing by syncing this monitor’s refresh rate to your GPU’s framerate. ALLM, or auto low latency mode, as the name suggests, reduces latency automatically when it detects you’re going to be gaming.

OLED Care 2.0 and other features

As with all good QD-OLED monitors, this one has an array of features designed to prevent burn-in. One such feature is the graphene sheet that’s designed to whisk away heat from the monitor itself. On top of that, there’s also a USB-C port with 90W PD, which allows you to connect and charge devices, reducing clutter. You’ve also got a fully adjustable monitor stand, with a smaller footbase to preserve some desk space, too.

Things to consider

In short, this is a great monitor, but there are better options, at least in our opinion, if you’re going for absolute top-tier performance. First off, there are some excellent dual-mode 4K/ 240Hz, 1080p/480Hz monitors for around the same price (when discounted) from the likes of ASUS. These are way more versatile, and also OLED, especially if you’re into competitive gaming. We’d also say that if you’re going for something a little more sleek and polished-looking, some of Samsung’s QD-OLED monitors would be the way to go. These are super slim, feature CoreLighting, and are some of the most premium-looking gaming monitors you can get. They’re also often on sale, too.
