Although today’s release of Final Fantasy 16 on PC has been met with much acclaim, it hasn’t exactly been the smoothest of releases for Square Enix. But despite the myriad player complaints currently peppering its various related social media accounts, the community at large has been coming up with its own ways to fix the game’s slight shortcomings. Take this Final Fantasy 16 PC fix, for instance, that introduces some improvements that are sure to make your romp through Valisthea easier on the eyes.

Available on GitHub, the Final Fantasy 16 PC fix in question lets you “adjust gameplay FOV,” uncaps cutscene framerates, and “adds ultrawide/narrower support,” giving you more freedom to customize how you see the game based on your preferences. In addition to these features, the same fix also “allows the use of motion blur + frame generation” and removes “pillarboxing/letterboxing” while you’re in borderless or fullscreen mode, potentially improving the game’s graphical quality even more for certain setups.

Like any other project shared on GitHub, this one comes free of charge, though you can also support the creator, Lyall, by donating to their Ko-Fi or Patreon pages. Otherwise, if you’d like to see what the rest of this convenient fix contains, check out the full notes below:
