64GB and 512GB LCD models get 15% off
At the time of writing, two models from the Steam Deck LCD series have their prices slashed, and you save 15% on both of them. The Steam Deck 64GB variant is available for $296, which is $53 less than the original price of $349. On the other hand, the 512GB version is listed for $381, down from the original price of $449, saving you over $60.
Unfortunately, the price of the 256 GB variant remains the same. On top of that, keep in mind that the sale will last until July 11th. Valve also mentions that the offer will be available while supplies last, so you’ll need to make a decision quickly.
Aside from the storage capacity, there aren’t any major differences between the 64GB and 512GB versions. Both feature a 7-inch diagonal display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 5, 40 Whr battery, 45W power supply with a 1.5m cable, and a carrying case. However, the 512 GB version also comes with a steam profile bundle, and its display is a premium anti-glare etched glass. On top of that, its SSD is also NVMe.
Sadly, for UK players, the Steam Deck LCD offer is already sold out. We’ll be sure to update this article as and when it comes back in stock.
No discount on OLED
Valve is not offering any discounts on the OLED versions, which were released a year later than the LCD models. The OLED versions offer a better and bigger display with a higher refresh rate, Wi-Fi 6E, and a 50 Whr battery. In any case, there couldn’t be a better time to grab the handheld than now, as the Steam Summer sale is also upon us, kicking off on July 27. This will allow you to grab a good number of games for your Steam Deck at low prices.
