Steam bundles are a great way to grab a collection of new games from your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) franchise or genre, and many already exist on the Steam store. However, finding all of them previously required a little bit of digging if they weren’t prominently featured on the store page. Valve has finally made this process automatic.

It’s safe to say that Steam is most PC gamers’ first stop when it comes to discovering and playing new games. There are, of course, many third-party sites that resell keys – Humble Bundle or Fanatical, to name a couple – but it almost always leads back to Steam. Speaking of those resellers, bundles on those sites have become a popular way to save big on a large collection of games.

Game bundles made loud and clear on Steam

In a recent Steamworks blog, Valve announced a new feature on Steam: a link to all relevant bundles is automatically listed on a game’s Steam store page if more than three exist. Essentially, the feature makes it much easier to find every single bundle that includes the game you’re interested in. Then you’ll probably end up finding another game you’re interested in, fall deeper into the bundle rabbit hole, and be tempted to buy a full package.

Steam now automatically creates a landing page that lists out all of the bundles that contain a given appID.

If a game is available in more than three bundles, then a link to the new landing page will appear on the game’s store page. In this case, you’ll see a link that says “See all X bundles”.

Steam has space for three bundles on its store page, but there are plenty of games out there that are included in more than just three. The new text link takes you straight to a list of them all; you can sort them by popularity, price, or alphabetically.

We imagine this feature will be a massive help during Steam’s regular sales events. From the list of all upcoming Steam sales, Steam Scream 4 (otherwise known as the Halloween Sale) is up next. The seasonal sale begins on October 27 and will run until November 3, giving you a full week to take advantage of store-wide price cuts and this new Steam store feature.
