Following its launch on October 15, the new M5 Apple Vision Pro is now available for pre-order. The original model was exclusive to the United States for nearly half a year before it started launching internationally, but this time around, a bunch of regions get the new M5 model on day one. This includes the US, UK, and Canada – all of which we cover in this guide.

The Apple Vision Pro M5 release date is just around the corner, so there’s no time to waste if you’re interested in pre-ordering one. The best place to do so is from the official store, but we’ve also covered some alternatives to look out for. Apple is also releasing a new MacBook Pro and iPad Pro powered by M5.

A healthy range of tech retailers stock VR, AR, or mixed-reality headsets, but when it comes to the high-end Vision Pro, going directly to the Apple store is your best bet. However, there are some other places to keep an eye on in the US.

Like the UK, Canadians had to wait until July 2024 to get the original Vision Pro. But no waiting around this time; here’s where you might be able to find it on day one of launch. Pre-orders are already available on the Apple Store.

Can you pre order the M5 Apple Vision Pro?

Yes, you can now pre-order the new Apple Vision Pro powered by M5. Currently, the Apple store is the only place we can find pre-orders immediately after the launch announcement on October 15th. Once October 22 comes around, we might start to see the high-end headset showing up in some alternative retailers.

Over in the UK, Jigsaw24 is still selling the original M2 model, so we’ll have to wait and see if the retailer’s stock is updated sometime in the future. Apple’s other new hardware – namely the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 is much more readily available in a wider range of retailers, including pre-orders.

How much does the M5 Apple Vision Pro cost?

We can refer to the official Apple store for the MSRP of the new Vision Pro. It’s the same price as the original model (in USD), which drew criticism for its eye-watering cost, but at least you’re getting an upgrade with the new M5 chip.
