It’s been months since the project started, but VR for Fallout London is finally being released. As we wrote back in December at the end of last year, a community member of the Fallout London mod asked for assistance from the devs to get a new version working. Attempting to make the mod work with virtual reality has finally come to fruition, as the mod is now available on Nexus Mods for anyone to install.

The mod has also gotten a shoutout on the FOLON Discord that outlines that it is an unofficial community-made mod. However, it does show that the mod has received the help it needed from the initial developers to get this mod sorted, even though they do remove themselves from any responsibility for its support.

It also states the VR mod is still in beta, with only 10% of the quests having been tested, so you might find some issues down the line. However, the most game-breaking bugs have reportedly been fixed.

Immerse yourself in the Fallout London VR mod

There is a detailed installation guide on how to install the mod and get yourself immersed in the game. There are a few prerequisites you have to have before you can get going, but after that, following the guide, you can be ready to go.

Below are some screenshots that give you a look at what you might see in-game. A true representation of life in Britain, with added nuclear fallout. It certainly provides a whole new way of playing the game and experiencing the gameplay in another dimension.
