Most of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series GPUs had a rough time following launch, with limited stock availability and inflated price tags making them a questionable purchase. However, the GPU market is healing, and you can actually pick up the RTX 5070 for its $549 MSRP right now. We found two retailers stocking the card for its recommended price tag: Best Buy and the official Nvidia marketplace.

The RTX 5070 has been available on the Nvidia store for just over a week, so you should probably snap it up before stock dries up on the ‘Best Seller’ graphics card. It’s one of the better mid-range options on the market and, as an RTX 50 series GPU, has exclusive access to DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation.

Nvidia’s Founders Edition card comes with 2.16GHz and 2.51GHz base and boost clock speeds, respectively. For comparison, PNY’s triple fan model also has the same boost clock, but comes with a higher factory overclock, with a 2.23GHz base frequency, so there will likely be a minimal performance difference between the two. The sleek aesthetic of the FE model has always been a crowd-pleaser, and it’s rare to find it stock months after launch, so now’s a great time to pick one up for a great price.

We can’t be sure how long the RTX 5070 FE will remain in stock, source: Nvidia

During its initial unveiling of the RTX 5070 at the start of the year, Nvidia was keen to show off its ‘RTX 4090 performance’ for a fraction of the price. This, of course, was with plenty of help from AI upscaling and frame generation, and native benchmarks brought everyone back down to earth. Regardless, the 5070 is still a great GPU. In our review of the ASUS TUF variant, we praise it for excellent 1440p performance, and it was good enough to push native 4K in many scenarios.
