We thought the Cybertruck Mini PC was a joke, but it’s actually real and doesn’t look half bad

When the Cybertruck concept first showed its face, it was met with equal parts awe and skepticism. We spotted it at Computex early last month and saw it as no more than a novelty concept. The design was a stark departure from the norm, and its promises of futuristic capabilities were ambitious, to say the least. Dubbed the “fastest AMD Ryzen Mini PC”, production is currently rolling out for the Tesla homage.
Now set to become a reality thanks to Xyber Team, the Cybertruck mini PC is listed on Indiegogo and is undeniably eye-catching. Its faithful replication of the larger vehicle’s design is impressive, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into its aesthetic appeal. With its working doors, rolling wheels, and even lights that mimic the real Cybertruck, it’s a standout piece of tech that's sure to be a conversation starter.

This Cybertruck has Ryzen-powered performance under the hood
However, looks aren't everything. The heart of any PC is its performance, and on that front, the Cybertruck mini PC seems promising. Equipped with either an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS or Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, it’s likely capable of handling demanding tasks like video editing and gaming.

The inclusion of up to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage further solidifies its potential as a serious computing device. Mostly ideal for productivity, but it’s not bad for some lightweight gaming on the side either.
Just novelty?
At its core, the Cybertruck mini PC feels more like a novelty item than a must-have piece of hardware. While its performance specs are respectable, there are plenty of other mini PCs on the market that offer similar or even better performance at a potentially lower price point. That being said, the price doesn’t seem so bad; the 7840HS version reportedly costs around $399. Plus, the Indiegogo page does offer 10% off “Super Early Bird pricing” which caught our attention.
That said, if you’re a fan of the Cybertruck or enjoy a standout design, the mini PC is undoubtedly tempting. It’s a fun and quirky addition to any desktop setup, and it’s a testament to the power of design in the tech world. But for those who prioritize performance and practicality over aesthetics, there’s plenty out there.
