Xbox unveils long list of games to feature at Gamescom 2026, with two days of content for fans to look forward to
Table of Contents
Gamescom 2026 is just around the corner, taking place between August 26 and August 30. In the run-up to the convention, Xbox has already announced a list of 33 games to be featured over the first two days of the event. Standout titles include Gears of War: E-Day, the new Fable reboot, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Expect gameplay reveals, interviews, special guests, and more.
Just yesterday, rumors were spreading online to suggest Xbox may also reveal a “very unexpected sequel” as a surprise – whatever this may be, it doesn’t look to be on the official list just yet. However, with the Xbox CSO promising “signature exclusives” every year, perhaps we can look forward to an exclusive title, though, like E-Day, such a game might also launch on PC.

Xbox says it will be bringing “2 days of Gamescom with gameplay reveals, interviews, special guests, new trailers, and more!” Official live broadcasts will be kicking off at 4 PM CEST (local time in Cologne, Germany) / 10 AM EDT / 7 AM PDT. The first day will feature 13 unique Xbox titles, while the second piles in a total of 20, so there’s more than enough for gamers to check out.

An Xbox blog post shared in late July had already touched on a few of the games to feature at Gamescom – but now we have the full list (aside from any potential surprise announcements). Xbox will be streaming Gamescom on its official YouTube and Twitch channels, so if you’re interested in any of the games above, be sure to tune in this August.
“It’s all about the games,” says Xbox, with the event being one of the first times members of the public will be able to play these upcoming titles. Even Fable will have a live demo, despite not launching until February 2027. It will also be the first time gamers will experience the Gears of War: E-Day campaign; it has already had an open beta, but only for its multiplayer modes.
